Idania gave us an incredible tour of Siena the day before the Palio. She was able to teach us about the history of the race, within the history of the city, show us all of the major sites, and answer every question we had. She knew the best places to see all of the action leading up to the final Palio trial, and we felt like we had a better view and experience than any other non-locals. We had an incredible time, only wishing we had more days in Siena to immerse ourselves in the city that Idania taught us so much about!
